The Committee:

  • Provides high level strategic advice
  • Provides feedback and advice concerning skills required by graduates to ensure the needs of industry and employers are met
  • Offers a broader perspective on education and research program directions
  • Provides a vehicle for building and strengthening relationships with the legal profession and the wider community
  • Provides insight into the current climate and potential opportunities for development activities
  • Assists in increasing funding, particularly for scholarships, from external sources
  • Supports social and promotion events of the Law School

Membership

The membership of the Advisory Committee is determined in consultation with the Executive Dean. External members of the Advisory Committee are invited to serve two-year terms. Internal membership is determined by the Head of School in consultation with the Executive Dean.
