  • Developments in the legal profession which might influence the Law School's activities, its academic programs and opportunities for graduates.
  • Strategic Development of the School.
  • Opportunities for the School to interact and cooperate with the legal profession, industry and Government.
  • Developing ongoing financial support for the Law School and its activities.
  • Publicising the activities of the Law School.

The Law School Advisory Board was also established to comment on matters presented to the board by the Executive Dean or Dean of the Law School including:

  • Changes to academic programs
  • Professional Education
  • Research, contract research and consultancy programs.

The Law School Advisory Board is able to raise with the Executive Dean and/or Dean of the Law School other matters of concern to the Advisory Committee that may impact on the School.
