Mr David Wright Associate Dean of International Students

The Law School at the University of Adelaide offers a very warm welcome to international students. Facilities at the University are first rate. Students will be exposed to some great minds and challenging concepts. So studying as an international student at the University of Adelaide provides many wonderful ways to learn, including but extending far beyond the traditional academic learning. Adelaide has a great lifestyle, with a relaxed pace of life. International students are encouraged to embrace fully their time overseas (though not at the expense of their studies!).

Among many other things, international students enrich the Law School. They help us all to see the world in new ways. The Law School, as well as the Faculty of the Professions and The University of Adelaide, provides a wide range of support to international students. The Law School has a "buddy system", where a local student is paired with a new international student. Special assistance is also provided to students to help with study and writing skills. The Law School encourages all international students to avail themselves of these support structures.

Once again, I would like to warmly welcome all international students and stress the support that the Law School offers to its international students.
