Food is not allowed in the Law Library, and the only drink allowed is bottled water. If you don't comply with this policy, library staff may ask you to leave.
There is a lounge and cafe area on the Ground Floor of the Ligertwood Building, and a covered outdoor area. Both of these are designed for eating and drinking.
