EndNoteEndNote is a software program designed to manage and store bibliographic references. You can create your own file of references or import (download) references from online databases, using an appropriate citation style. For Law referencing, the AGLC2 style is preferred. Where to obtain EndNote? The University of Adelaide has a site licence so the EndNote software is available to staff and students on a work and home computer. There are versions for Mac and PC. EndNote can be obtained from the University's ITS website by logging in here. EndNote for LawEndNote is not specific to legal materials so the default version of the software does not recognise case or statute citations. EndNote therefore needs to be configured to recognise legal citations so that they are referenced correctly, although the software is limited in its capacity to do so. The Australian Guide to Legal Citation, 2nd edition can be used to assist you to set the citation style preferences.
