Avalon Project at Yale Law School
This is a huge legal history website covering pre 18th century documents to the present day in the fields of law, history and diplomacy. Documents are listed alphabetically within chronological sequence, but may be searched by author, title, subject, collection or keyword.

British Legal History
Hosted at Cambridge University this is an excellent chronologically ordered site of web pages and fulltext documents tracing the history of the common law from Anglo Saxon times to the 19th century.

Macquarie Projects

Decisions of the Superior Courts of New South Wales, 1788-1899
The site presently documents over 1,000 cases culled primarily from newspaper reports, and is searched by case index in blocks of years and a subject index broken down into 2 periods of the early Chief Justices - Forbes and Dowling. A separate collection of Aboriginal cases is also available. The site is also available on Austlii and there benefits from keyword searching.

Decisions of the Ninetheenth Century Tasmanian Superior Courts
Created by Stefan Petrow and Bruce Kercher, this site contains Tasmania superior court cases from 1824 with case and subject indexes, similar to its sister site - Decisions of the Superior Courts of the New South Wales.

Selden Society publications
Founded in 1887 by Frederic William Maitland the Selden Society is the only society and publisher devoted entirely to English legal history. The Law Library holds all the works of the Selden Society (listed and catalogued) in Stack 41 (Lower ground floor).
