SMALL ARMS SURVEY
The Small Arms Survey is an independent research project located at the Graduate
Institute of International Studies, Geneva, Switzerland. It serves as the principle
international source of public information on all aspects of small arms, and as
a resource centre for governments, policy makers, researchers, and activists.
The Small Arms Survey Website also contains the UN Small Arms Conference Database
which was first created by the Program on Security and Development at the Monterey
Institute of International Studies, and subsequently taken on by the Small Arms
Survey in Geneva. The purpose of the database is to track states positions
with respect to small arms and light weapons issues.
UNDOC Regional Centre for East and Southeast
Asia and the Pacific
In 1998 the UNDOC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime) Regional Centre was
given responsibility for drug control cooperation within the Pacific. The UNDOC
Regional Centre for East Asia and the Pacific is located in Bagkok, Thailand,
and is today responsible for over 30 countries/areas.
