HPLAS - Homeless Persons Legal Advice Service
hplas@adelaide.edu.au

Welcome to ALOS:
Adelaide Legal Outreach Service

In March 2005 the University of Adelaide Law School began a legal advice service for homeless persons (ALOS).

ALOS is a free legal advice service available to homeless people in South Australia.

The Service is operated by students from the law school, under the supervision of lawyers and law lecturers.

ALOS operates on FRIDAYS out of the WESTCARE CENTRE (212 Wright Street).

ALOS is independent and is NOT part of Westcare.

We aim to provide preliminary advice and referral. We are not able to take over the management of cases, but aim to help our clients manage their own case or refer them to other services.

We do not pay any costs related to a clients case.

This service is supported by the Law Foundation of South Australia and the University of Adelaide.
